NLP Master Coach Trainer Criteria and Requirement
At the NLP Master Coach Trainer level, WANLPC offers two Credential application routes
Traditional Route:
The following requirements must be met by all NLP Coaching Professionals in order to be eligible for WANLPC Accreditation through traditional route:
- Direct training from esteemed co-founders and NLP co-developers such as Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Robert Dilts, Christina Hall, Leslie Bandler, Judith Delozier, David Gordon, Tad James, Michael Hall, Steve Andreas, Connirae Andreas and others.
- Endorsements by at least two NLP Master Trainers.
- At least 2500 hours of coaching experience using NLP.

Alternate Route (Experience Route):
The following requirements must be met by all NLP Coaching Professionals in order to be eligible for WANLPC Accreditation through alternate route:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of NLP.
- Attendance at Trainer's Training with NLP co-developers, co-founders, or other top NLP legacy trainers.
- Proof of having facilitated at least 50 NLP Practitioner programs and 10 Master Practitioner programs as an NLP Trainer in good standing.
- Endorsements by two NLP Master Trainers (Co-founders, co-developers, legacy NLP Master trainers)
- 2500 hours of NLP Coaching experience.
- ICF MCC level coach or working towards that, certified at ICF PCC/Meta Coach (PCMC level – Michael Hall)/Generative Coach (Robert Dilts), and mentoring completed at ICF MCC level
- Understanding of standard based coaching (ICF, EMCC and others), and methodology-based coaching (Coaching using Neuroscience, Emotional Intelligence based Coaching, Group and Team Coaching)
- Demonstration of coach training skills to meet the NLP Master Trainer criteria by sharing a one-hour video presentation showcasing their NLP Coach training abilities. This will be reviewed by our review board.
- Review of the applicant by our ethics, and standards team for any business compliance issues.
Behavioral Competencies for NLP Master Coach Trainers:
- Facilitation Mastery: The candidate should demonstrate the ability to effortlessly and gracefully facilitate any NLP topic without relying on notes or handouts.
- Superior Rapport and Engagement Skills: Able to establish and maintain exceptional rapport with participants, ensuring high engagement throughout the training sessions.
- Voice Variation: Demonstrates skill in varying voice tone, pace, and emphasis to enhance training delivery and effectiveness.
- State Management: The candidate should effectively manage their own state throughout the training, ensuring congruence and impactful presentation.
- Congruence: Maintains consistency and alignment between verbal and non-verbal communication, demonstrating authenticity and trustworthiness.
- Respectful Handling of Participants: Handles participants with utmost respect, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
